Lutz / Odessa FL Dentures FAQ
What’s the best way to take care of dentures?
Gently cleaning dentures every day is necessary for long-lasting dentures. General cleaning instructions include using a soft brush and a special cleanser, with each denture type coming with its own set of instructions for care. Always remove your dentures before sleeping to avoid damaging them, or dislodging them, and to give your gums some time to relax. Submerge your dentures fully in warm, but not hot, water to keep them from drying out and becoming misshapen. Only use denture soaking solution if your dentures do not have metal components as the solution can tarnish the metal.
Are dentures covered by insurance?
It really depends on your insurance, but in most cases, it can be covered at least partially. You may need to contact your dental insurance provider. If you have questions about coverage, our staff may be able to help you.
